Pig N Ford World Championships Day 3 (FINALS)

What a great final day of racing!  Ben Salo made it into the finals on his last chance of the week.  He then managed to win again to claim his second title.  There was a lot of car trouble on the final day, but that didn’t stop any of the fun.  Hopefully everyone had a good time.

What a wild day on the track, those pigs are out of control.  We had another one get loose on the track again.  He was trying to hide under the trailer.  We eventually wrestled him down.

It was a great first day of racing.  Three pigs got loose, while one of them made it all the way to the far corner of the corral area.  Car #16 had mechanical issues at the last minute and had to sit out, while Jamie Dixson borrowed number 18 to race in the second heat.  Here are the results:

Pig N Ford Races start tonight, so head down to the Tillamook County Fairgrounds to catch the action.  We will also try to get the results posted tonight and with pictures, if possible.

The Pig N Ford racers will be sporting their cars over the weekend at the Garibaldi Days parade.  The parade starts at 11am, so if you want a sneak peak before the Tillamook County Fair, you better get up there early.

I have added the photos from the event.  It was a rare hot day at the coast.
